Oxford & Blenheim Palace
The dreaming spires of Oxford followed by the baroque grandeur of Blenheim — Churchill's birthplace and a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
Our Oxford & Blenheim day pairs the oldest university in the English-speaking world with the most spectacular baroque palace in Britain. Morning is spent on a guided walking tour of Oxford — Christ Church College (the Harry Potter dining hall), the Bodleian Library, Radcliffe Camera and a punt down the Cherwell if weather and tide allow.
Afternoon at Blenheim Palace — the only non-royal residence in England to hold the title 'palace', the birthplace of Sir Winston Churchill and a UNESCO World Heritage Site. State rooms, the Long Library, Capability Brown's lake and the formal gardens.
