K2 Chauffeur launched its award-winning chauffeur-driven service in 2007 from a small office in Surrey, with two cars and a simple promise: deliver private transport with the calm, the courtesy and the reliability of an old-school private driver — and back it with modern technology, modern vehicles and a 24-hour operations desk. Eighteen years on, that promise still defines us.
Today we operate a fleet of fourteen luxury vehicles — Mercedes S-Class and E-Class saloons, Range Rover, Mercedes V-Class people movers, Mercedes Sprinter Executivees and the regal Rolls-Royce — driven by a roster of vetted, full-time chauffeurs who know London and the home counties by heart. We serve private clients, family offices, embassies, FTSE-listed businesses, leading London hotels and international visitors arriving through every UK airport and private aviation terminal.

Our chauffeurs
Our chauffeurs are the most important part of the business. We invest serious time in finding only the best drivers — the very finest in their field, many multilingual, all handpicked by experienced operators. The average tenure of a K2 chauffeur is over six years; many have driven the same families for the entire time we have been in business.
Both male and female chauffeurs are always presented in fitted, dark suits with white shirts and discreet ties. Every driver is licensed by Transport for London (TfL), enhanced background vetted and holds a full enhanced DBS disclosure. All have excellent topographical knowledge of London, Croydon, Surrey and the surrounding counties, with most also fluent in a second language — French, Italian, Spanish, Arabic, Mandarin and Russian are all represented across the team.
Our selection process considers attitude and commitment as much as driving skill. Defensive-driving certification, advanced first-aid training and regular vehicle handling assessments are mandatory. Nothing is too much trouble for a K2 ambassador, and discretion is always a priority — every chauffeur signs our confidentiality agreement before they take a job, and many have additionally been security-cleared for diplomatic and high-profile principal work.
Every driver fully PCO licensed and enhanced DBS checked, no exceptions. Insurance is fully comprehensive on every vehicle in our fleet.
All chauffeurs sign an NDA. Discretion is the default — for principals, households, family offices and the corporate teams that book us.
